The Year of the Goat/Sheep is just days away! This is the time of the year when people from Vietnam, China, Korea, etc. celebrate the coming of a new year! So this Chinese New Year is on Thursday, February 19, 2015. Chinese New Year is like New Year for Americans, but it is for Asians. We Asians celebrate it by decorating our altars for Buddha and we leave food on those altars for our ancestors to feast. Chinese New Year is very big for us Asians because it is the time where we gather as a family to celebrate this time of the year. Also, we kids get money! Yay!
